Dustless Hardwood Sanding in Stamford and Nearby CT

Stamford homes and the towns around them do not empty out for a refinish. Dustless hardwood sanding is how we restore the floor and keep the dust in the machine instead of in the vents. More on the work itself is on our Stamford hardwood flooring services page.
Why dustless matters in a lived-in CT house
Older Colonials and capes in Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Greenwich, and Norwalk have tight rooms and a lot of trim. Traditional sanding puts fine dust on everything. A vacuum-backed sander does not make the job faster. It makes the house livable while the floor is open.
Full sand vs screen and coat
If the finish is worn through, or pet and chair marks have reached the wood, you need a full sand. If the floor is dull but still sealed, a screen and coat can buy years. We decide that on site. Humidity swings from Long Island Sound make a thin coat fail if the wood is already exposed.
What you do during the job
Clear the rooms. We handle the sand, stain if you want it, and the coats. You will have a few days of sock traffic and no wet mop. We set that calendar before we start so school drop-off and work-from-home are not a surprise.
Nearby CT, not a generic New York pitch
This crew works Stamford and the nearby Connecticut towns. If you are across the line we will say so. We do not pretend one truck covers every borough.
