New Canaan older houses keep a lot of original hardwood. The usual job is a full sand and a new finish, not a tear-out. The Hardwood Guys refinishes floors in New Canaan as part of the same 35-mile Stamford coverage.
We check wear-layer thickness before we sand. If the floor has already been taken down too far, we say so.
